The New Master Suite

I am so excited to give you a tour of our new attic! This is the space after the walls were built, electrical ran, hvac installed and the foam insulation was sprayed.

The view to our backyard from the bedroom wall our bed will be on. I can't wait to make a reading corner or sewing spot in that far corner.

Bathroom! Soaking tub, large glassed in shower and double sink vanity to come! Love that window!

You may have noticed the odd looking walls. We opted for foam insulation, which is sprayed in. This type of insulation is really neat for it completely incapsulates everything, forming a "shell" and a very efficient barrier wall against any air leaks. It also saved us several inches of head room, which we felt was crucial for our space.
