Red Cadillac Car Seat

Always in awe of how the car seat dwarfs them in the beginning.

Unlike Ava, he tolerates the paci. He does get his thumb in his mouth quite efficiently though.

Love the milk drunk state.

This is only minutes after we got home. This big sis was literally flying out the door as soon as we pulled in the driveway to see her little brother. Notice she has two lovey blankets covering him. The minute he cries she brings him his blankie. She's going to ensure that he too has a "Dougie."

Time with Papa. William and August are Will's Papa's middle names.

This is my favortie picture so far. It was taken at the end of the day, after everyone went home, and before bed. Just the five of us hanging out on the bed. Our family of five!

Ava still looks so little here with her chubby cheeks, button nose and little fingers. Will has definitely made her seem so big now. She absolutely loves her little brother and is doing fine for the most part. She is just having a hard time adjusting to all the new excitement in the house. She doesn't want to miss a thing, however, she has proven over and over to be Mommy's great little helper. If she'd just stop insisting on nursing him! She lifts her shirt and practically lays right on top of him.

So far, Will's baby pictures resemble Ian the most. Ian acts like he's not too thrilled about being a big brother again, however, he constantly, very quietly (so Ava won't hear), is asking to hold Will every chance he gets. It's become a competition. Ian says that Ava has a beacon that goes off everytime someone other than her gets to hold the baby.
