Ava & Santa

Look how big she looks!! We even curled her hair! She was invited to a Fancy Nancy Christmas tea party, and had a splendiferous time! Afterwards we thought we would venture to see Santa.

Warning, Santa Spoiler Alert: This is now just an Ava tradition for Ian has decided that he no longer believes in Santa. We never really pushed Santa on him, and agreed years ago that we weren't going to force him to believe, so last year when he started asking questions we just humored him and asked him what he thought. Well, this year he immediately stated when asked about Santa that "it's ridiculous to think reindeer can fly and you cannot make me believe they can!" Ok, case closed! Not sure if he's happy to know the truth, however, now he is beginning to realize how much of a job it is to keep the secret, so that we do not ruin it for all our friends that do believe.

As for Ava, this is her first year visiting Santa. She was a real big talker on the way there. She was going to sit in his lap and tell him that she wanted toys for Christmas. She was going to touch his furry outfit that looked just like hers. Then she saw him and fell apart.

Mommy even sat on his lap and that still didn't work!

She has no idea that he is looking over the chair, or she wouldn't have remained seated.
