Miss Ava made her flower girl debut this past weekend. She had the priviledge of sharing in a very special day. Ava's Great Great Aunt Evie who is in her late seventies, married her high school sweetheart. After many years of no contact they touched base with one another last year and the rest is a "happily ever after" tail.
The Wedding Party
Ava was instructed to not drop any pedals until she crossed the bridge. Once over the bridge she insisted on dumping all the pedals before moving on. Her cousin Caleb was so patient to wait for her, even though he knew that he wasn't supposed to stop walking.
The ceremony and reception were outdoors by a beautiful pond. We knew we couldn't count on these two to stand the whole time so they had a special bench. Caleb sat down on Ava's dress and she quickly scolded him. Look how she's holding it away from him.
Honestly, could they be any cuter?
Getting crazy with Aunt Deb and Uncle Steve. Ian has decided that it's super cool to dance like a robot now. Ugh!

ReplyDeleteOur 2 1/2 year old nephew Ian was supposed to be a ring bearer for Mike and Katie's wedding, so they came all the way to KC from Texas for the wedding, had him all dressed up in his tux, and he just wouldn't go down the aisle! So kudos to Ava and Caleb for their cool heads under pressure!
